SeaCo Ltd
SeaCo Ltd is a Bermuda based shipping container investment and leasing group, which was formed in February 2009 to hold the container leasing investments of Sea Containers Group, following its US Chapter 11 re-organisation in 2008.
SeaCo Ltd's main asset was a 50% joint venture interest in GE SeaCo Srl of Barbados (one of the world's largest container lessors with nearly 1 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units ("TEUs") under management), which interests, along with its owned container fleet (which had been managed by GE SeaCo), were sold to HNA Group Co Ltd of PRC in December 2011. GE Seaco Srl was renamed Seaco Srl in connection with the sale to HNA, and continues its active operations under the ownership of HNA, with historical associations only to Seaco Ltd.
